Do they demonstrate caring?
It is a waste of heart to "work" on bad company. A rotten egg will remain so.
Being a true friend to a rotten egg will make you stink and decompose, even if you were perfectly fresh on your own. True, true symbolism. Just place fresh parsley with rotten food. Will the rots turn fresh? You betcha not.
Best to only allow the great and good into your inner circle.
